Amber Weber, MSN, ARNP, FNP-C
Amber Weber, MSN, ARNP, FNP-C, has been practicing as a family nurse practitioner since 2012. She graduated from Allen College. She is married to her husband Josh, and they reside with their 3 children in Jesup, Iowa.
She joined the IHHC team in late October 2018.
She has 4 years’ experience at a walk in clinic, 2 years in family practice, and 3 years’ experience in ENT (ears, nose, throat) completing countless procedures.
Her professional interests include: nutrigenomics, the gut microbiome and gut health, with the role it plays in all other organ systems within the body, chronic fatigue, hormones, optimizing athletes’ strength and endurance, educating the community on how to improve their health, decreasing American’s exposures to chemicals and toxins in their everyday life.
She is excited to be able to apply her functional medicine knowledge to children.
She is currently a member of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and American Academy of Otolaryngology. She is a previous member of Sigma Theta Tau (Nursing Honor Society). She became BioTe certified to administer hormone pellets in 11/2018.
She is currently working towards a certification in functional medicine.
Her professional goals include making a difference in people’s lives by improving their health through functional, integrative and conventional medicine, and continuing to advance her functional medicine knowledge.
She enjoys the outdoors (when its warm), and like to participate in boating, working out, shopping, Iowa Hawkeyes football, watching her son wrestle, her daughter play soccer, crafting, and spending time with family and friends.
